When it comes to development and programming, I’ve done it all. From hand scanners to large web sites, I’ve worked as a single developer and on projects with hundreds of developers. Over the years, I’ve learned a thing or two. In this initial post, I’ll share some of my best tips and tricks that I’ve picked up along the way.
One of the most important things I’ve learned is that there’s no such thing as magic. Development and programming is hard work. There’s no getting around it. But there are some things you can do to make the process easier. One of the best things you can do is to experiment. Try different things and see what works. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. That’s how you learn.
Another important thing to remember is that testing is your friend. The more you test your code, the fewer problems you’ll have down the road. I recommend testing your code as often as possible. This will help you catch bugs early on and prevent them from causing problems later on.
Finally, don’t be afraid to ask for help. If you’re stuck on something, don’t be afraid to reach out to a more experienced developer. There’s no shame in asking for help. In fact, it’s one of the best ways to learn.
